Unfortunately for many players, Blizzard has postponed the release date of its newest World of Warcraft: Shadowlands update, previously expected on October 27th. The company says fans will still be able to see Shadowlands as early as 2020.
This information was shared by executive producer John Hight. According to him, the developers will be able to finalize and finely polish the extension thanks to the additional time so that players can enjoy the highest-quality product. He also said that the delay is because of all the released add-ons, Shadowlands is the most difficult to produce. In many ways, such difficulties are caused by coronavirus pandemic, which forced staff to work remotely in an unusual environment.
However, according to Hight, we will be able to try out the first pieces of the update in almost a week, on October 13th. Blizzard will release a preview of the Shadowlands patch on which further expansion will be based. Among the available innovations will be a new location Exile’s Reach, improved character customization, and mechanics for raising his level.
World of Warcraft: Shadowlands is a future global update of the game that will improve game mechanics, and will add a new dimension – Shadowlands, in which you can meet the spirits of previously deceased famous heroes.
