Microsoft’s new Halo game, Halo: Infinite, continues to receive new details. Yesterday the blog Cannon Fodder posted two new concept arts to complement its lore.
The first picture shows the campaign antagonists’ representative, Jag ‘Rdomnai. According to the developer comments in the article, Jag is a Sangheli fighter as well as an elite Exiled’s member, he is also part of the inner circle of an organization called The Hand of Atriox. ‘Rdomnai is a dangerous enemy that the player can meet repeatedly during the gameplay, as well as one of the new characters in the Halo series.
The second concept art is a depiction of a new armor called the GEN3 Mark VII. It follows from the blog that it combines elements of classic equipment from Halo 2-3 and modern technology, using neural interfaces and full-sized shields. Note that Master Chief, the main character of the game, will begin with an old Mark VI outfit, and will meet the new one later.
Details like these only boost an interest in the upcoming release, which is scheduled for 2021.
