British videogame development studio Rocksteady has announced the release of a new game Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League based on the eponymous world-famous film and comics from DC Comics. The game will belong to the genre of adventure shooter, according to the plot, a suicide squad will compete against the famous league of superheroes.
The cinematic trailer introduces the game universe to uninitiated beholders but the graphics in the final version will be seen in 2022 and be changed – the game is in the prerender stage. For four minutes of the video, the viewer sees such iconic characters from the movie Suicide Squad as Harley Quinn, Deadshot, Boomerang and King Shark, shooting monsters from the roof of the house of the ruined Metropolis. Thus, the game is tied to the universe of the film Arkham, although the events still do not take place in Gotham.
Critics of the Rocksteady developers note that the trailer gives no idea about the future of the gameplay. However, fans of shooters, Suicide Squad and Marvel / DC comics are looking forward to 2022, and the release of the game on three basic platforms: PC, PS5, Xbox Series X.
